Move Announcement (1)

From the Desk of the Assistant Regional Superintendent

A New Chapter for ROE4

For over 35 years the City of Loves Park has been home to our ROE4 central office, and we are so grateful for that partnership. When City of Loves Park Mayor Jury shared the exciting plans to bring their police department into the same building, we knew it was time to find our next home.  While our initial goal was to stay in the greater Loves Park area and as close as we could to Summit Academy, the opportunity that presented itself with the building at 4960 State Street was a clear winner.

When I think about what this move to 4960 State Street really means, it's not just about a new address, it is about what this space will allow us to do for the districts, students, and communities we're so fortunate to serve. We are so excited to share that construction on the building is officially underway! Watching it take shape has been a reminder of the heart of this journey... to build something that best supports the work all of you do every day.

As we look toward our January 1st move-in date, I want you to know that our commitment to this region does not change with a new building or different location. If anything, it deepens. We're grateful for your partnership and can't wait to welcome you to a space built with you in mind!

Exclusive Partnership with The Regulated Classroom®

It started with a capacity-building workshop with The Regulated Classroom® for Area 2 SEL Hub educators. Following the success and positive experience provided by ROE4 during that workshop series, author and creator of The Regulated Classroom® Emily Read Daniels reached out to Area 2 SEL Hub Director Christy Schweitzer to invite ROE4 to become their exclusive Illinois partner!

With Emily's guidance, Christy and ROE4 School Support Program Manager Linsey McDanel became Licensed TRC® Master Trainers who are approved to bring this co-regulation framework to schools statewide!

We're excited to offer a lineup of upcoming TRC® trainings, including workshops and book studies, both in-person and virtual. Contact Christy to discuss how we can provide this training at your school!

Have you had a recent interaction with our team?

Navigating educator licensure and transcripts can often be a complex and stressful process. Over the past few weeks, our office has received a series of 5-star Google reviews highlighting the exceptional customer service provided by ROE4 team members, especially our licensure team members Madelynn Glenn and Leah Blake!

One recent visitor detailed how supported they felt working through their paperwork with our team: "...This whole process can be very confusing and stressful. [Madelynn Glenn] made me feel heard, took the time to walk me through the steps, and helped me understand the process. Leah Blake did such a great job jumping in to help and answer questions! Thank you both for all your help!"
